A Yucca Valley woman was arrested Tuesday, accused of trying to stab a man. The victim called deputies for help about 5:40 p.m. and asked them to come to the 1600 block of Jemez Trail in Yucca Valley because he said Tanya Ferraro Walton was chasing him with a knife. He added that she was pointing the knife at him and he was in fear for his life. The victim was able to get away and hide from Ferraro Walton while waiting for deputies. After an investigation, Tanya Ferraro Walton was arrested for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with her bail set at $50,000.
