YUCCA VALLEY WOMAN ACCUSED OF ARSON

A transient woman was arrested Saturday, accused of setting a fire. Deputies were called to the 29 Palms Visitor’s Center about 8:15 by a witness who said a woman, later identified as Frances Marsh, 53, had started a fire behind the visitor’s center. Frances Marsh was arrested on suspicion of arson, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with her bail set at $25,000.
