YUCCA VALLEY WALGREEN’S BURGLARIZED EARLY TUESDAY MORNING

Burglars stole a van from the Hi-Desert Star parking lot in Yucca Valley and used it to break in to Walgreen’s early Tuesday morning. According to a Sheriff’s report, three men wearing ski masks drove the van through the glass front doors at Walgreens about 2:19 a.m. Once inside the store, the three men stole the ATM and fled in the van. The van—which had been hotwired—was located a short distance away still running. The ATM was not found inside the van. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.

The front doors to Walgreen's are boarded over. The store is open during regular business hours.
