After an incredible season, The Yucca Valley High School Trojan varsity football team competed in the CIF Southern Section Champions on Saturday night, but lost to Cerritos High School in overtime.
The Dons from Cerritos bested the Trojans with a final score of 19-13. The Dons scored their final touchdown during overtime at the end of a tight game played in Lakewood California.
The Trojans have had a terrific season. Led by Coach Jeremy Johnson, they were undefeated in league play, and came in first in the Desert Valley League. The Trojans have made the high desert proud all season long. Go Trojans!
