YUCCA VALLEY TOWN OFFICES CLOSED FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Except for emergency services and specifically scheduled programs, all offices for the Town of Yucca Valley will be closed beginning Thursday, December 24 and will re-open for business on Monday, January 4. Building inspections will be available December 28 thru 30. Schedule an inspection by calling 760-365-0099, (option 5). Managing editor Tami Roleff has more information about the Yucca Valley Animal Shelter and animal control services…

Beginning Thursday, December 24, the Yucca Valley Animal Shelter will be available by appointment only for pet owners to retrieve impounded animals. Call the shelter at 760-365-3111 extension 105 to arrange a meeting time to pick up your pet or to leave a message for a lost or found pet.  Shelter staff will return calls each day between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.  The animal shelter provides kennel runs for anyone who has found a stray pet and wishes to drop off the pet on their own.

During the holiday closure, Yucca Valley Animal Control officers will respond only to priority calls. Those requiring emergency animal assistance during this time should call San Bernardino County Sheriff’s dispatch at 760-365-2364.

The Hi-Desert Nature Museum, the Yucca Valley Senior Center, and the Community Center continue to be closed until further notice due to the current public health orders.

As a reminder, Town Offices are currently closed to walk-in traffic due to current public health conditions. During the Town’s normal business hours, services may be requested by appointment only by calling (760) 369-7207 (Town Hall), or (760) 369-6575 (Community Development).  Services may be requested 24/7 through the Town’s website at www.yucca-valley.org
