YUCCA VALLEY TOWN COUNCIL WILL INTRODUCE NEW EMPLOYEES AND CONSIDER OPIOID SETTLEMENT FUNDS IN AGENDA TONIGHT 

On tonight’s (March 15) agenda of the Yucca Valley Town Council is a closed session to consider negotiations regarding specific real property and confer with legal counsel regarding potential litigation. In the open session, the council will seek approval of an agreement between the town and San Bernardino County to use the local allocation of California Opioid Settlement Funds. Among the items on tonight’s agenda of the Yucca Valley Town Council is a closed session to consider negotiations regarding specific real property and confer with legal counsel regarding potential initiation of litigation. In the open session, the Council will Introduce new town employees. It will seek approval of an agreement between the town and San Bernardino County to use the local allocation of California Opioid Settlement Funds and authorize the town manager to execute the approved agreement. 

Additionally, the Town Council will consider accepting the Town-Wide Crack Seal Project, a maintenance effort to extend the lifetime of the roadway pavement, as substantially complete, and authorize staff to file the notice of completion.

The town council will also hear reports on Old Town public space concepts, Phase I Irrigation Water Use Reduction Study, Synthetic Sports Fields Turf Analysis, and finally, consider awarding a public outreach and marketing contract to Tripepi Smith.
