The Yucca Valley Town Council will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. today. The sole item on the agenda is to approve an agreement with the proponents of the medical marijuana dispensary initiative. The agreement would buy more time for the council to continue its negotiations with the proponents over a compromise ordinance that would permit dispensaries in the town.
