YUCCA VALLEY TOWN COUNCIL TO HEAR ABOUT LICENSE PLATE READER PROGRAM

After recognitions and introductions of new employees, the Yucca Valley Town Council will hold a public hearing on the proposed amendment to the sign ordinance approved by the planning commission. The council will then be asked to allocate $122,000 in funds from the community development block grant for North Park. Sheriff’s Lieutenant Luke Niles will give a presentation on the automated license plate reader program in deputy patrol cars. The council will then be asked to approve an ordinance that would give the town the ability to recover attorney fees in public nuisance cases. Tonight’s meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center.
