The Yucca Valley Town Council will convene tonight at 6 p.m. to adopt two new resolutions. Reporter Joshua King has the details…
The first resolution set to be adopted at tonight’s meeting is in regards to a study conducted on irrigation water use reduction and synthetic sports turf. The passing of the resolution will allow the Town Manager and Town Attorney to execute a professional services contract with RHA Landscape Architects, as well as establish a $5,300 contingency fund to complete the study. The second resolution will amend the fiscal year 2020/21 special revenue fund budgets and award a contract for professional engineering design services to the KOA Corporation for the Onaga Trail Safety Improvements Project.
The council will also vote on increasing its compensation to $620 per month, from $557. The council last increased its compensation in 2017.
