The Yucca Valley Town Council meets tonight to discuss mural regulations, utility issues, and more. Here’s reporter Jef Harmatz with a closer look at their full agenda…

At tonight’s regularly scheduled meeting, the Town Council will consider new standards and policies regarding murals on commercial and business properties along the highway. Also on the agenda is the establishment of an “underground utility district,” which would see some of the town’s utility poles and wires removed in favor of subterranean equipment. The council will discuss road improvements, a number of budgetary issues, and the vacation of a portion of right-of-way on the 57000 block of Las Piedras Lane. The meeting will be held tonight at 6 p.m. at the Yucca Valley Community Center, and can also be attended online, with details available below.
