At tonight’s meeting of the Yucca Valley Town Council, the council will hold a public hearing on the proposed short-term vacation rental ordinance. Mayor Pro Tem Rick Denison has also requested that the council revisit the sale of a portion of the town’s park-and-ride lot on Benecia Trail and Kickapoo Trail to Hi-Desert Water District for a lift station for the sewer project. At the previous meeting, the council voted to sell the parcel for $28,888, despite staff’s suggestion that it could be sold for $1.
