Following the strategic plan workshop at 5 p.m., the Yucca Valley Town Council will hold a public hearing on annexing the new O’Reilly Auto Parts store into a community facilities district. The council will also be asked to approve resolutions to annex Mohawk Car Wash into a community facilities district. Next the council will be asked to accept the citizens’ initiative concerning commercial marijuana operations in town limits. It is expected that the council will request a report on the initiative to be presented at its December 5 meeting. And finally, the council will be asked to approve a resolution establishing a short-term vacation rental application and monitoring fees. The regular meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center.
