Among the items on tonight’s consent agenda for the Yucca Valley Town Council meeting, the council will be asked to deny a claim filed against the town, award a construction contract for abandoning town septic systems in preparation for the new sewer project, and allocate $200,000 from Measure Y funds to emergency infrastructure repairs. On the action agenda, the council will adopt a resolution supporting the 2020 census, approve a contract for a radio communications system, and approve an allocation of $357,000 in road maintenance funds—along with a list of approved road projects—to the California Transportation Commission. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center.
