Among the items on tonight’s consent agenda for the Yucca Valley Town Council, council members will be asked to approve the final tract map for 107 homes on 63 acres on the southeast corner of Golden Bee Drive and Sage Avenue. Under department reports, the council will be asked to approve a contract for $153,000 for audio-visual improvements for the Yucca Room of the community center. Next, the council will be asked to approve an agreement with AirBnB for collection of transient occupancy taxes for short-term vacation rentals in the town. The council will also be asked to approve an amended contract with the Sheriff’s Department. Tonight’s meeting is set for 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center.
