After a summer hiatus, the Yucca Valley Town Council will hold a regular meeting tonight. Managing editor Tami Roleff fills in what’s on the agenda…

After a presentation by the Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce, the council will be asked to approve the consent agenda. One of the items on the consent agenda is a rule change for the summer concert series that would prohibit unauthorized vendors, signature gatherers, and signs inside the fenced-in area of the event. The council will also be asked to approve a contract civil engineering, architecture, and planning services; approve a study to review town employee compensation, benefits, and classification; and make the final appointments to the town’s aquatics and recreation center citizen advisory group. Tonight’s meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center.
