Among the items on tonight’s agenda of the Yucca Valley Town Council, the Council will recognize the employee of the quarter, award additional pay to the deputy town manager for assuming the duties of acting town manager for the past year; and return $250 to the Center for Healthy Generations. The Town Council will then be asked to authorize resolutions authorizing synchronization of the Town’s traffic signals and awarding a contract for a new signal at Dumosa and the Highway. The Council will hear an informational update about the County’s emergency management strategic plan, and will be asked to support a state bill banning the use of single-use carry-out bags. The Council will then go into closed session to conference with legal counsel over potential litigation.
