Tonight’s meeting of the Yucca Valley Town Council will start with a workshop at 4 p.m. in the Mesquite Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center. Council members will discuss a wide range of initiatives and ideas in a less formal setting. At 6 p.m., council members will move to the Yucca Room for the regular meeting. Among the items on the consent agenda, the council will authorize a request for proposal for a community livability survey report, and allocate $115,000 in community development block grant funds to two town projects: Paradise Park renovation, and code enforcement. The council will then hear a report from the Desert Regional Tourism Agency, and hear a mid-year budget report.
