YUCCA VALLEY TOWN COUNCIL MEETS TONIGHT: DEMOLITION AND SALES TAX REVIEW

Among the items on tonight’s agenda of the Yucca Valley Town Council, the council will be asked to approve the appropriation of $125,000 from the general fund for the demolition of an abandoned building at 55601 29 Palms Highway and the planned demolition of five other structures. The council will also review guidelines for the citizens’ oversight commission of the sales tax measures. And finally, the council will be asked to establish March 21 as Local Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. The meeting is set for 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center.
