Among the items on the consent agenda of tonight’s meeting of the Yucca Valley Town Council, the council will be asked to reject a claim filed against the town by Cherryl LaMar. On the action agenda, the council will receive the demographic study for its transition to district-based elections, review the draft general fund budget, and form an ad hoc committee to help in the town’s website re-design. Following the regular meeting, the town’s Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency will meet to discuss refunding all or a portion of bonds issued in 2008. The meetings start at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center.
