Among the items the Yucca Valley Town Council will consider on its consent agenda tonight are the purchase of 20 park tables and certification of the election results for Measure X. The council will then hold a public hearing prior to placing liens totaling $9,400 on four properties because town staff were forced to clean up the properties. The property addresses are: 6450 Fortuna Avenue; 7197 Murray Lane; 7775 Elk Trail; and 8111 Hopi Trail. Council members will then hear department reports on Morongo Basin pathway; paid sick leave policy; Paradise Park playground improvements; powdered alcohol; and appointing delegates to the League of California Cities annual conference. The council will then go into closed session to discuss litigation with Mirage Front Properties, and with Frank Lindsay. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center.

And immediately following the town council meeting, council members will meet as the Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency to approve an amended budget for bond payments, and for a needs assessment for the former PFF building.
