After a routine consent agenda, the Yucca Valley Town Council will start its meeting with appointments to the Parks and Rec and Planning Commissions. Also on the agenda, the council will discuss a request by the Grubstake Days rodeo committee to establish a fairgrounds for the rodeo. The council will then reconvene as the successor agency to the former redevelopment agency. And then the council will go into a closed session to discuss potential litigation against the town by Cherryl LaMar and Tim Stredney. Tonight’s meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center.
