The agenda for tonight’s meeting of the Yucca Valley Town Council looks fairly routine. The Council will hear a presentation from Hi-Desert Medical Center, presumably on its affiliations plans. Among the items on the consent agenda, the Council will be asked to approve the development code amendments, approve plans for refurbishment of the community center infield and advertise for bids; and approve the granting of a utility easement for Kickapoo Trail north of the highway and Benecia. Next the Council will be asked to give its approval to advertise for bids for Jacobs Park playground improvements and signs for Essig and Machris parks. Finally, council members will nominate representatives to the various public agency boards. The meeting will be held at 6:00 in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center.
