On tonight’s agenda, the Yucca Valley Town Council will hear a report on the household hazardous waste drive-through collection event held last month. The council will also approve a $90,000 contract for the first phase of architectural and engineering services to renovate the old library into new town offices for the Community Development functions. The council will also be asked to approve the proposed budget. The council will then hear an update on community services programs through September. Tonight’s meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center, or it may be viewed online at yucca-valley.org.
Following the meeting, the town council will hold a closed-session meeting for a performance evaluation of the town manager.
