The Yucca Valley Town Council will start off its meeting Tuesday with a closed session, in which it will discuss whether to initiate litigation. Immediately following the closed session, the Town Council and Planning Commission will meet in a joint session to review the general plan land use. Following the joint workshop, the Council will begin its regular meeting. Among the items on the consent agenda are acceptance of a grant for the safe routes to school, and an agreement with CalTrans for a traffic light at the highway and Church Street. Finally, the Council will receive an update on the affordable senior housing project.
