Among the items on the agenda for tonight’s meeting of the Yucca Valley Town Council, council members will be asked to authorize the Property Assessed Clean Energy program, or PACE. PACE is a state program that allows homeowners and businesses to finance energy-efficient upgrades or renewable energy. The financing goes on property bills, and the program must be authorized by the local government first. The council will then review the status of its strategic plan. Tonight’s meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center.
