YUCCA VALLEY TOWN COUNCIL CONSIDERS CHURCH SERVICES IN THE YUCCA ROOM

After awarding another resident the Yucca Valley Spirit Award at tonight’s meeting of the Yucca Valley Town Council, the council will consider whether it should allow a church to permanently hold services in the community center. Managing editor Tami Roleff explains…

Hosanna City Church has asked the Town Council to grant a waiver to allow it to permanently hold services in the Yucca, Ocotillo, and Joshua Tree rooms in the community center. Town policy allows the rental of these rooms from Monday through Saturday only. Tonight, the town council will consider the request.

In other business, the council will appoint a new planning commissioner to replace Chair John Terfehr who resigned earlier this year.

Tonight’s meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center.
