The Yucca Valley Town Council will hold a special budget workshop at 4 p.m. today in the Yucca Room of the Community Center. Residents are invited to attend and give input. The budget workshop will be followed by a special council meeting at 6 p.m. Among the items on the consent agenda, the council will be asked to reject a claim against the town; approve $76,000 for the design of a traffic light at Dumosa and the highway; and approve a resolution supporting the establishment of the Johnson Valley Off-Highway Vehicle National Recreation Area. Under department reports, the Council will review the updated baseline budget.
