Among the items on tonight’s consent agenda, the Yucca Valley Town Council will authorize the town to advertise and receive bids to hook up town facilities to the sewer project. Under department reports, the council will be asked to amend the town’s general fund budget due to the decrease in sale tax revenue and increase in legal expenses and COVID-19 expenses. The council will also be asked to extend the COVID-19 emergency proclamation. Tonight’s meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley community Center, but residents are encouraged to watch the meeting online from the town’s website.
Tonight’s meeting will be followed by a routine meeting of the Successor Agency of the former Yucca Valley Redevelopment Agency.
