Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Yucca Valley Town Council decided earlier this year to postpone the Fourth of July fireworks show until Labor Day weekend. Managing editor Tami Roleff has more details about the event…
The Town of Yucca Valley will hold its Fourth of July fireworks on the fifth of September—the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. The fireworks will be a remote viewing; Brehm Park and surrounding streets will be closed to the public, and residents are encouraged to watch the fireworks from their homes. The fireworks will be launched extra high in the air to make sure everyone can see them. In addition, the fireworks show will be livestreamed on the town’s Facebook page. The show starts at 9 p.m. and will last about 20 minutes. Z107.7 will simulcast music to go along with the display.
