YUCCA VALLEY TO AWARD BIDS FOR AQUATICS CENTER AT TOWN COUNCIL MEETING

The Yucca Valley Town Council meets tonight (January 18) to award bids for the new aquatics center. Reporter Jef Harmatz brings you full details on their agenda.

At tonight’s regularly scheduled meeting, the council is expected to approve agreements with two consulting firms for their role in the construction of the town’s planned aquatics center. After reviewing bids from several firms, the council will consider and hold public hearings on potential agreements with an architectural and design firm as well as a geotechnical engineering firm for services totaling slightly more than two million dollars. The council will also consider committee assignments, and receive an update on current Covid-19 protocols.
