The Yucca Valley High School girls’ tennis team beat Indio 16-2.
In singles, Abby Aubuchon scored 3-6, 6-0, 6-0. Mckayla Henry swept her sets, 7-5, 6-0, 6-3. Catherine Jones was 1-6, 6-1, 6-4.
In doubles Mckenzie Monical and Rylie Rohr won 6-1, 6-2, 7-5. Alex Costa and Jadya Henry also won, 6-1, 6-2, 7-5, and Rachelle Henriquez and Kennia Torres won as well, 6-2, 6-1, 6-2.
Monical and Rohr are undefeated in league this year. The team is now 2-1 in league.
