The girls’ Yucca Valley High School tennis team beat Twentynine Palms, 13-5.
Coach Cindy Miller said in singles, Abby Aubuchon went 6-0, 6-1, 6-1; Mckayla Henry went 6-0, 6-3, 6-4, and Eden Ricketts went 6-1, 6-0, 6-0.
In doubles Mckenzi Monical and Rylie Rohr were 4-6, 6-4, 6-1. Alex Costa and Jadya Henry 1-6, 6-1, 1-6. Rachelle Henriquez and Kennia Torres 5-7, 6-1, 4-6.
Miller said, “The girls played really well. The singles were outstanding as they swept them.” The team is now 6-1 and is currently in second place.
