The Yucca Valley High School girls’ varsity tennis team beat Banning 15-3. They are now 1-1 in league. Coach Cindy Miller said in singles, Abby Aubuchon won in three sets, 6-1, 6-0, 6-0. McKayla Henry won two sets, 6-2, 6-0 and Eden Ricketts won one set, 6-0. In doubles, Mckenzi Monical and Rylie Rohr won, 6-0, 6-1, 6-0. Alex Costa and Jayda Henry also won, 6-3, 6-0, 6-3. Rachelle Henriquez and Kennis Torres went 6-1, 6-2. Rachelle and Skye Hansen won one set, 6-3. Miller said the team played very well.
