The CrossFit Games are equivalent to the Olympics in the sport of fitness, and a Yucca Valley teen was there competing. Sequoia Berrara, 17, competed in six events at the CrossFit Games and came home in eighth place for her age division of 16-17 year-old girls. Over four days, Sequoia competed in workouts that included running, swimming, dumbbell snatches, rowing, burpees, ring work, weightlifting, jumping rope, pull-ups, handstand push-ups, and squats.
