In high school sports, the Yucca Valley High School Trojan swimmers traveled to Riverside Aquatics Center for CIF Prelims. The 4×100 yard freestyle team of Kaylee Powell, Jordyn Koger, Skye Hansen, and Markina Evdokimoff were seeded 29th with a time of 4:20.31 going into prelims. The girls won their heat and dropped their time to a 4:09.81, earning 17th overall and qualifying for finals. They will return to Riverside Aquatics Center on May 3 for CIF Finals.
