The Yucca Valley Trojan Swim team travelled to Banning on Thursday (March 10) where both the male and female team bested the Banning High School Broncos. The boys won 121-23, with automatic CIF times in the 200 yard medley and 200 yard freestyle relays of Aaden Poyuzina, Sam Evdokimoff, Griffin Hilderbrand, and Alex Kompier. Evdokimoff also swam auto times in the 200 yard free and 100 yard butterfly. Poyuzina swam for automatic time in the 200 yard individual medley and consideration in the 100 yard breaststroke. Hilderbrand swam for consideration time in the 100 yard breaststroke. Kompier swam with a consideration in the 200 yard individual medley.
The Ladies of Troy won the meet 104-21. Swimming with CIF consideration times in the 200 yard medley relay were Vanessa Ozburn, Sydney Stevens, Maddy Fowler, and Hailey Weiss. Ozburn swam for consideration in time for the 100 yard butterfly and 100 yard backstroke. Weiss swam for consideration time in the 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard backstroke.
