The Yucca Valley High School swim teams traveled to Banning High School on Monday, March 11, and came home with two victories. The Trojan boys won 91-21, and the ladies won, 122-21.
Coach Rebecca Pessa said Markina Evdokimoff earned two individual CIF consideration times in the 200-yard and 100-yard freestyle.
The 400-yard free relay team of Evdokimoff, Ashley Amstutz, Skye Hansen, and Kaylee Powell swam to a first place finish and CIF consideration time. Despite the cold, the team had many personal best times including Ryley Arrona, Matthew McKenna, Axel Sanchez, and Griffin Hilderbrand for the boys; and Jade Arnhold, Alexzia Lilly, Nicole Godoy, and Annie Hilderbrand for the girls.
