Soroptimist International of Yucca Valley will recognize three local women at its annual awards luncheon Wednesday, March 20. The organization will award a total of $2500 to the women to improve their economic situation: Ramona Rifferbery; Lacy Chenea; and Oyushkaya Bolanis-Thumm. Also recognized at the luncheon will be the Yucca Valley High School for supporting an on-campus service club, the “S” Club, and Karen Faulis, the CEO of Hi-Desert Medical Center.
