Two Yucca Valley men were arrested Thursday morning following a search warrant in Yucca Valley. About 8:20 a.m., deputies from the Multiple
Enforcement Team went to a home in the 56800 block of Little League drive with a search warrant. During a search of the home, deputies found a large amount of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a knife, and an injured animal. Inside the home were James French, 53, and Raymond Wahlberg, 37.
James French was arrested for possession of narcotics for sale and animal cruelty. Due to a pre-existing medical condition, French was released at the scene and a report will be forwarded to the district attorney for review. Raymond Wahlberg, a parolee at large, was arrested for possession of a dirk or dagger, and on two outstanding warrants and is being held in the Morongo Basin Jail without bail.
