YUCCA VALLEY RESIDENTS REPORT MULTIPLE BURGLARIES THIS WEEK

At least seven Yucca Valley residents reported burglaries Tuesday and Wednesday. According to Sheriff’s reports, burglars stole the battery from a moving truck was stolen from a business in the 56200 block of 29 Palms Highway Monday night. A flat bed utility trailer was reported stolen Tuesday afternoon from the 7400 block of Balsa Avenue. Tuesday afternoon, at least two men burglarized a home in the 57500 block of Pueblo Trail. Burglars kicked in the front door of a home in the 5700 block of Buena Suerte and stole jewelry, electronics, and computer equipment. A resident in the 7900 block of Stevenson Lane reported Wednesday morning someone had broken a window and stole several items. The owner of a home in the 7300 block of Apache Trail reported Wednesday afternoon that someone had broken in and ransacked the home. And squatters took up residence in the garage of a home in the 56100 block of Papago Trail. The man and woman left when the owner confronted them, but the owner of a garage next door subsequently discovered that his garage had been burglarized. The Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
