The Recreation Division of the Town of Yucca Valley is inviting you to the Great Race Place, the Santa Anita Racetrack in Arcadia. The Great Race Place is a fun adventure for anyone interested in Thoroughbred racing. Flowing dresses and big hats are recommended for the ladies, and gentlemen are encouraged to wear fedoras and bow ties. The trip takes place on Thursday, March 17. All participants must sign up before March 3; early registration is encouraged. Departure is at 9:30 a.m. from the Yucca Valley Community Center, returning at 7:30 p.m. The package price is $65 per person; includes admission, program, lunch, clubhouse seating, and transportation. Please register at www.yucca-valley.org or at the Community Center from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 pm., Monday through Thursday.
