The Town of Yucca Valley will be offering tennis lessons at Jacobs Park for children and adults. Junior tennis is open for kids aged 5 to 12. During the five-week class, students will learn the fundamentals of tennis. Classes are at 9 a.m. Saturdays, beginning October 13 with a reserved practice time on Tuesdays from 5 to 7 p.m. Students in the five-week adult classes will learn how to play doubles, although no partner is needed. Lessons begin Sunday, October 14, at 9 a.m. The cost for each class is $55 and includes balls and a key to the tennis court. Students in both classes should bring shoes and a racquet.
