The Yucca Valley pool opens Monday, June 17, with a choice of water activities. Water aerobics start at 7 a.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays through August 9. There are morning and evening sessions for lap swimming: Monday through Friday at 8 a.m., and 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays. The pool is open for fun swim on Mondays and Thursdays from 1 to 5 p.m., and two Saturday sessions have been added for family fun swims: July 20 and August 10, from 11 to 3. Admission is $4, but swim passes are $30 for 10 admissions, and may be used for water aerobics, lap swim, and fun swim. The passes can be purchased at the pool or the community center.
