YUCCA VALLEY PLANNING COMMISSION TAKES UP NATIVE PLANT PERMITS TONIGHT

The Yucca Valley Planning Commission will meet tonight to discuss native plant permits and appoint a new chair and vice chair. Reporter Joshua King has the details…

Tonight’s meeting at 5 p.m. will cover the removal of three Joshua Trees, the relocation of seven Mojave Yucca, the trimming of five California Juniper, the destruction of three more California junipers, and the destruction of 17 Mojave Yucca.

Following that, the commission will nominate and elect the chair and vice chair for the next 12 months.
