Among the items on the agenda for tonight’s meeting of the Yucca Valley Planning Commission, is a public hearing for a conditional use permit for a 60-foot Verizon cell phone tower disguised as a pine tree, on a vacant lot on Primrose Drive, north of Yucca Trail. An environmental assessment and site plan review for Billings Transfer Rock, Sand and Gravel, and Allstate Driveshaft, at 55525 Yucca Trail, are next on the agenda. One of the conditions of approval for the site is that the slatted chain link fencing be maintained until solid fencing material is installed on the project site. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center.
PLANNING CONDITION P8. The applicant shall maintain the slatted chain-link fence until solid fencing material, consistent with the Development Code and Commercial Design Guidelines, is installed on the project site. This shall be accomplished within 180 days of Planning Commission approval.
