At tonight’s meeting of the Yucca Valley Planning Commission, commissioners will hold a public hearing on changing language in the municipal code that would allow property owners to rebuild residential structures that have been suffered more than 75 percent damage. Next, the commissioners will hold an environmental assessment and site plan review for a new building for O’Reilly Auto Parts. The new store would be located at the northwest corner of Highway 62 and Grand Avenue. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center.
