After swearing in its newest planning commissioner, Margie Trandem, the Yucca Valley Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on an environmental assessment and conditional use permit for a 1,300-square foot addition to a communications hub at 6720 La Contenta Road. The commission will then be asked to approve a 3-year time extension to a 16,000-square foot retail project and fast food restaurant on the southeast corner of Highway 62 and Prescott Avenue. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center.
