YUCCA VALLEY PLANNING COMMISSION MEETS, PARKS COMMISSION LOOKS AT FACILITY FEES

On the agenda at tonight’s meeting of the Yucca Valley Planning Commission, the Commissioners will be asked to approve a street vacation of 60 by 100 feet on the northwest and northeast corners of Dumosa Avenue and Highway 62. Then the commissioners will hear a review of the draft development code. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Community Center. Prior to the Planning Commission meeting, the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Commission will meet at 4 p.m. in the Joshua Tree Room of the Community Center. Among the items on its agenda, the Parks and Rec commissioners will make a recommendation to the Town Council about the use and reduction of fees for using Town facilities.
