Tonight, at 6 p.m., the Yucca Valley planning commissioners will meet to approve native plant permits and offer their interpretation of two separate development codes. For the first, the commission will discuss the height limit for fences of a mixed solid and see-through nature. Second, they will adopt a resolution allowing the use of barbed wire fence for security purposes in an industrial zone district.

The Yucca Valley Planning Commission will discuss whether a 6-foot tall fence that is solid below and allows visibility above is authorized under the town’s codes.
