YUCCA VALLEY PLANNING COMMISSION LOOKS AT 2 PERMITS FOR FAST FOOD

The Yucca Valley Planning Commission will hold a meeting tonight where it will cover the development of a new Domino’s as well as the approval of two home operating permits for local businesses. Reporter Joshua King has the details…

After months of discussion and planning, the commission will commence with the approval of a conditional use permit for the construction and development of Domino’s Pizza and Jersey Mike’s Subs that will be located west of the northwest corner of Twentynine Palms Highway and Balsa Avenue. The 5,292 square foot multi-tenant property will occupy a space of roughly three-quarter acres and feature a drive-through for customers on the go. The meeting will conclude with the housekeeping matters of two native plant permit approvals as well as the approval for two residents’ home occupation business permits—one for wine sales and the other for home RV appliance repair. The meeting starts virtually at 6 p.m. The Planning Commission has also scheduled a special meeting at 7 p.m. to consider the approval of a native plant permit.
